Together, ITWP companies Toluna and Harris Interactive gathered insights into consumers’ use of technology around the world. Findings highlight the importance of consumer insights for brands and businesses when thinking about new product launches and marketing applications for emerging technologies. The study was fielded in each country within 24-hours in February 2020 and the data has been weighted by gender, age, and region within each market.
The majority of global consumers are excited about and comfortable using new technology.
When asked about how important it is to stay connected at all times, many consumers in the markets we surveyed find it to be extremely important to stay connected at all times.
When asked if the majority of technology owned serve entertainment or practical purposes nearly ⅓ of those surveyed in each country say that half of their technology serves practical purposes and half serves functional purposes.
