Flourishing in the age of AI

Harris Interactive is delighted to see its research published in a new major report by the BBC, showcased in October’s Media, Tech & Society Conference 2019 hosted by the BBC.

The report and conference raised crucial questions about the so-called fourth industrial revolution of Artificial Intelligence, taking a central focus on people rather than the tech itself. The report is stated to be one of the BBC’s most ambitious research studies to date and Harris Interactive informed the quantitative data and insights that fed into it.

The report asks pivotal questions such as:

  • What problems do citizens identify in their lives?
  • Which problems could technology help to address?
  • What are the activities, ambitions and dreams that matter most?
  • How do people want to spend their time and what are the things that get in the way?

To answer these questions, Harris Interactive conducted a major quantitative research study in the UK, benchmarking key results in the USA and Germany.
