Position: Research Executive
Division: Technology, Media, Telecoms and Entertainment team
Location: West London

Responsibilities:
This role is primarily centred around work we conduct for one of the world’s most exciting and dynamic Internet-based companies. We conduct a wide range of research for many different divisions within this company, utilising our market leading solutions. In addition, you would also provide support on studies that we conduct for a variety of other high profile clients. The RE role represents a great opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge in a sector you’re passionate about. You would be helping to deliver a range of different national and international projects into both established and emerging product and service areas. You would certainly be expected to make a difference, and contribute positively to the team. You will learn from, and be supported by, seasoned industry experts; and will relish the prospect of:
- Helping to prepare, write and check accuracy of reports
- Analysing qualitative and quantitative data, including assisting with drawing conclusions
- Contributing to the preparation of client presentations
- Liaising with clients in a clear and professional manner
- Responding to ad-hoc requests for information from clients
- Conducting briefings of third party agencies and providing support to resolve data collection problems
- Working closely with Research Operations and Marketing Science
- Assisting other team members with identifying new products and market trends
- Preparing specifications for data collection/external costs
- Managing less complex projects autonomously
Required Skills:
Being a team player and having a can-do attitude are essential characteristics for this role, as are:
- Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Strong academic background
- Clear and confident verbal and written client communication
- Excellent attention to detail
- Motivated and willing to learn
- Prior experience in research or statistics in any capacity (including in academia) would be helpful, but not essential
