Position: Employee Engagement Research & Account Manager

Location: West London (W5) or Central Manchester

We have an enviable track record in helping organisations realise the full potential of their employees via employee engagement research, analysis and improvements. This, in turn, helps to drive significant business performance improvements, such as employee productivity, customer satisfaction, sales and operating profit.

Earlier this year, we launched our enhanced Employee Power solution and we are now looking to grow this business in 2017 and beyond. To support this growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced research professional to play a key role in the following areas:

  • Primarily, the implementation and delivery of projects
  • Enhancing best practice and processes
  • Business development and sales
  • Internal and external communications/marketing
  • Strategy and development of the offer

The ideal candidate will be an experienced researcher who has worked on employee research/engagement projects, for a number of years, ideally on the agency side. The role would suit someone who is commercial, client-focussed, flexible, strategically orientated, and would like to play a key role in growing the future of our Employee Research Practice.

Responsibilities include:

Reporting to the Head of Employee Research, UK and working with the Head of Digital UK, Marketing, Sales and client account teams – playing an active hands-on, day-to-day role in:

  • Project design, implementation, management and delivery
  • Coordination of internal teams and resources
  • Enhancing best practice and processes
  • Client account management and developing client relationships
  • Supporting new sales enquiries/opportunities, meetings, proposals, pitches – directly contributing to sales, revenue and profit targets
  • Supporting Development and communication (internal and external) of product enhancements, new sales & marketing materials, case studies, promotional campaigns
  • Contributing to competitive positioning, differentiation and further development of the offer, in line with market needs/developments, new approaches and the competitive landscape

Candidate requirements:

  • An impressive track record in market research, ideally, with strong experience of employee research/engagement projects
  • A strong track record and expertise in highly effectively internal stakeholder communications and engagement
  • A track record of, and desire for, developing and growing a business
  • A team player who can build effective relationships with colleagues and clients
  • A strong communicator, focused, autonomous
    Someone who can operate at a senior level, commercially savvy and hands-on
  • Someone who wants to make a difference and have an impact on this strategically important and high profile initiative
  • Although not essential, it would be preferable if the candidate had an occupational psychology MSc or similar
  • Experience of working with or selling employee engagement software tools or packages would also be beneficial
